Koramaz Vadisi

Koramaz Valley, located in the Ağırnas region of Kayseri, is a unique hiking area that is on UNESCO’s Tentative List of World Heritage Sites. This approximately 12-kilometer valley offers a blend of history and nature, featuring rock-cut churches from the Byzantine era, ancient stone structures, and spectacular landscapes shaped by the Koramaz Stream. Bearing traces of Hittite, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and Seljuk civilizations, this area provides an unforgettable excursion for history and nature enthusiasts alike.

The hiking trail is designed to be a remarkably relaxing and peaceful experience. The flat, clean, and quiet paths are suitable for visitors of all ages. The 7-kilometer main route, shaded by large trees, offers a natural therapy accompanied by the murmur of water channels. Rest benches and basic infrastructure services are available along the way.
