# Hünkâr Köşkü Museum
The Hünkâr Köşkü, built in a mere 19 days in 1844 by order of Sultan Abdülmecit, serves as a bridge connecting the late Ottoman period to the early years of the Republic. It hosted Sultans Abdülaziz and Mehmet Reşat V, as well as Atatürk, who first saw his adopted daughter Sabiha Gökçen in its gardens in 1925.
As visitors explore the meticulously displayed collection within the museum, they are transported through history by the era’s most valuable porcelains, Atatürk’s personal room, the reception hall, and the hall with a pool. The mansion also showcases its architectural allure with its monumental trees, a fountain adorned with Kütahya tiles, and pebble mosaic floors.
Tours led by professional guides vividly convey the stories of the venue. With its social facilities next to the Customs Office and panoramic views of Bursa, this area offers a blend of history and nature. With free admission, the museum is an unmissable destination for understanding Bursa’s cultural heritage.
