# Meteorology Museum
I am proud to introduce this unique museum in Ankara as one of the most comprehensive collections of Turkey’s meteorology history. With over 100 devices, historical documents, and scientific instruments, it presents information across a rich spectrum—from radios used in measuring weather phenomena to meteorological reports from the Atatürk era—taking our visitors on a journey through the history of science.
The museum is also housed in this historic building, which was an important center during the national struggle. The development process of meteorology comes together with the spaces where Atatürk stayed during his first arrival in Ankara and where soldiers and administrators held meetings.
The detailed and engaging narratives of our expert guides make every visit unforgettable. An appointment is required to fully experience the museum. I warmly recommend it to both science and history enthusiasts, particularly for family visits. Admission is completely free.
